Natalie finished her studies at the Technical University Delft in 1994, and began working as an industrial designer at Philips Domestic Appliances and as a product development manager at the prestigious Dutch furniture brands Leolux and Pode. It was here that she developed her expertise in ergonomics and finding the balance between form and function.
In 2007 she moved to the Philippines and starts Studio 1five2. Her European designs with Asian twist and her motto “pretty practical” were well received by the local market. In 2013 she moved back to Europe and continued her studio in the Netherlands. Natalie’s designs are elegant, simple and yet special. Designs that, like the quality of our furniture, last for years. Furniture that fit harmoniously in different interiors and combine refined aesthetics with comfort.
