Dem Bitantes was the principal designer behind most of Designs Lignas classic furniture collections during his time as our Director of Design. Dem is a recipient of over 20 design awards. His contributions to the industry have promoted the Philippines as the foremost design hub in Asia.

His achievements include the Star Awards, Maison des Internationaux Createurs Trade Fair; Winning Entry, Singapore Furniture Design Competition; Outstanding Achievement in Product Design, Roscoe Competition USA; Most Promising Young Filipino Designer Award; Hall of Fame Award Given by the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines; Katha Awards for Best Product Design and Best Product Collection; Likhang Pilipino Awards for Best Product Design and Best Product Collection
